In the year 1453 AD, Constantinople, the capital of Byzantium Empire, was taken. This causes a massive power shift and prompts the naval superpowers of the European world to embark on a mission to establish new trading routes and claim the riches of the East.

Spurned on by rumours of distant unfathomable riches, explorers embark from the European world to claim the riches of the New World. In the midst of the ensuing gold fever, pirates assert their dominance over the seas.

Scholars the world over follow the trail of the legendary lost island of Atlantis, rumoured to be the home of impossibly advanced technologies. Brave Captains are dispatched to the corners of the map in pursuit of its treasures.
